Terms & Conditions - The Links Lounge

Safety

1. In a similar way to a driving range, playing virtual golf does have inherent dangers from both the club being swung and potential rebounding balls. By booking a bay at our venue you are signalling that you understand and accept these risks (on your own behalf and on behalf of your guests who you have informed of these dangers) in playing virtual golf and are choosing to proceed anyway and will in no way hold The Links Lounge LTD responsible for any resulting injury.

2. All members and guests agree to abide by the Club Safety Rules as displayed in the club.

Damage

3. The individual / member that books the bay is responsible for any damage caused to the bay or the wider lounge and equipment by individuals in their group. If The Links Lounge management deem that the damage has been caused by anything other than an accidental action / inaction, then the individual / member that booked the bay agrees that their account may be charged accordingly.

Behaviour / Attire

4. The management of The Links Lounge reserves the right to remove individuals from the premises if their behaviour is deemed abusive, disruptive, antisocial or illegal. These behaviours can result in membership termination without refund.

5. Members repeatedly booking bays and not turning up without reasonable notice (3 hours+) may at the discretion of the management team have their advance booking privileges removed for a period whereby they will only be able to book on the day of play.

6. The Links Lounge supports a relaxed dress code, but clean trainers or golf shoes must be worn. Metal spikes are strictly prohibited. Tops must be worn at all times.

7. Only clean golf clubs and balls are allowed to stop transference of dirt to the screens.

Age

8. All individuals under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a responsible adult. One adult can be responsible for no more than three individuals under the age of sixteen at any one time.

9. Members and guests under 18 will not be served alcohol. Anyone appearing to staff to be under 25 will be asked to show ID and will not be served alcohol if they do not have valid ID.

Booking / Membership

10. The Links Lounge reserves the right to book 24 days of the full facilities (or a corresponding number of hours of shorter bookings) for corporate events. These events will have the effect of continuing to keep the costs for memberships lower and hence are in our member’s interest.

11. Members must be present in person and playing in a bay to book it under their membership allowance and have guests joining them. If a member has booked a bay and then cannot attend, their booking must be cancelled, and their guests may rebook under a pay & play booking.

12. Booking a bay or holding a membership does not provide the right to provide lessons on our premises. Instructors wishing to provide lessons should contact the management team in advance to discuss options for providing lessons.

13. Memberships are paid in advance, and auto-renew at the end of each cycle (Monthly / Yearly).

14. Written notice (e.g., email) is required at least five (5) working days before the next billing date in order to cancel a membership.

15. Eagle and Albatross members will not have the ability to book more than one bay in parallel under their unlimited membership allowance, although you are welcome to book parallel bays on a pay & play basis for additional guests.

16. Members can only book 5 future bays at any one point in time.

17. Memberships cannot be paused or frozen.

18. Membership fees are non-refundable

Miscellaneous

19. No food or drink to be consumed on the simulator platforms.

20. Smoking / Vaping is strictly prohibited on the premises including the roof terrace and the car park.

21. The Links Lounge operates on a cash free basis.

Parking

22. We share a car park with Ninja Warriors, who tend to be busiest between 10am and 4pm, especially in the winter in school holidays and weekends. During these hours we ask our customers to car share as much as practically possible, ideally no more than two cars per golf bay booked. If the car park gets really busy, and our spaces are all full, you may be asked to park on the road outside. This is free, and if you have any clubs with you, you are free to drop them into our premises before parking.
