Coming Soon …. GOLFZON Tour Season Three

Welcome to the GOLFZON Tour, a next-generation golf simulator competition redefining professional golf tournaments. 

The Links Lounge is delighted to announce that we have registered our participation in the GOLFZON Tour Season Three.

Players compete in individual qualifiers in September to earn a spot on a four-player team representing their facility. The Top 64 teams face off over worldwide Network Play for a $300,000 purse split between the winners and three runners up.

This Tournament has grown year on year with the purse doubling from the original $150,000, to the current $300,000, it now also includes further cash prizes for the individual qualifying rounds and further prizes and raffles for experiences such as VIP tickets to the Champions Pavilion at the 2027 U.S. Open and 2027 F1 Miami tickets. 

Practice – July / August

This will all start off with practice rounds on selected courses in July and August. 

Registering as a contestant for The Links Lounge on the GOLFZON Tour website and practicing on the selected courses each month could win you prizes including;

• Lowest Score - winner receives a two-ball at a Top Regional GOLFZON partner course

• Closest-to-the-Pin - winner receives a U.S. Open or U.S. Women’s Autographed Flag

• 1st 50 to Complete a Round - participants receives a GOLFZON Tour Hat

It’s great to get lots of practice so playing six or more rounds on the selected course over the two months will enter you into a raffle for a further two-ball at a Top Regional GOLFZON partner course. Ten or more rounds will enter you into a raffle for a round of golf for two at Pebble Beach Resort with two nights’ accommodation.

Individual Qualifying - September

Registering as a contestant for The Links Lounge on the GOLFZON Tour website and playing a single round on the selected course in September will qualify you for the competition, but you may play as many rounds as you wish on this course in the month (the lowest score counts). A separate $20,000 purse is available to be split between the top 5 lowest scores (1st - $10,000, 2nd - $5,000, 3rd - $2,500, 4th - $1,500, 5th - $1,000). 

There is also a raffle for those playing three or more games and a nearest the Pin competition.

• Golfers must play a minimum of one round in September to qualify

• Golfers may play as many times as desired (their best score will count)

• Top four golfers for The Links Lounge will qualify for the Team

• Only one Employee / Coach allowed (if any qualify) per team

• The leaderboard of facilities will be REVEALED on October 1^st

Team Qualification - October

In October the team qualification will take place whereby three tournaments will be created on three different courses, and each member of the team will play each course to post their best round on each course, with the cumulative lowest team score counting.

• Each Golfer must play a minimum of one round in each tournament.

  • Golfers can play these rounds at their convenience and do not need to be played with the rest of the team.

  • All three tournaments will be available the entire month.

• Scoring is from the cumulative strokes for all 12 rounds played. 

  • 4 golfers x 3 tournaments = 12 rounds.

• 64 teams will go on to compete in the knock-out in November.

Team Knock-out – November / December

In November it is starting to get really interesting, the 64 teams will be divided into eight (8) divisions by region and score from Team Qualifying in October. By Decmber this will have reduced to the top 16 teams.

• Matches played LIVE via NETWORK PLAY against your opponent.

• Scoring = 3v3 handicapped aggregate stroke, match play.

• Match dates pre-determined by GOLFZON. 

• Matches are to be played at 7pm local time.

• Top two teams progress to the finals.

Finals - January

The top two teams from the knock-out competition will travel to the world-renowned American PGA Show in January 2027 in Orlando, Florida to compete live in the championship match (expenses covered by GOLFZON) 

The winners will go on to claim their prize of $200,000 and the title of GOLFZON Tour Champions Season 3 with their names written in the tournament’s history books.
